7th IMPCA MINI CONFERENCE AMERICA

Miami, Florida – February 7–8, 2019

The 7th IMPCA Mini Conference America took place on 7–8 February 2019 in vibrant Miami Beach, Florida. The venue was the stylish Loews Miami Beach Hotel, offering excellent facilities and a prime location for two days of networking, insights, and industry updates.

The event began on Thursday, 7 February, with a popular golf outing at the prestigious Crandon Golf Course on Key Biscayne. Participants enjoyed a full day of friendly competition and networking, followed by a buffet lunch. The golf event was generously co-sponsored by Atlantic Methanol, Chemium International Corp., Koch Methanol LLC, Mitsubishi International Corp., Mitsui & Co. (USA) Inc., OCI Methanol Marketing LLC, OMAN Trading International (US) Inc., Tricon Energy, and IMPCA.

Later that evening, delegates gathered for the official Welcome Reception held on the Conference Terrace of the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The relaxed atmosphere provided an ideal setting for reconnecting with colleagues and meeting new contacts from across the global methanol industry.

On Friday, 8 February, the business sessions took place in the Lure Dining and Moritz Meeting Rooms. After a continental breakfast, attendees heard a range of presentations from distinguished speakers:

An interactive coffee break provided additional opportunities for informal discussion before the conference concluded with closing remarks by IMPCA President René Butzelaar.
