5th IMPCA MINI CONFERENCE AMERICA

New Orleans, 9–10 February 2017

The fifth edition of IMPCA’s Mississippi Conference America took place in vibrant New Orleans, Louisiana, bringing together methanol industry professionals for two days of networking and market insights.

The event opened informally on 8 February with individual arrivals and leisure time. On 9 February, delegates already in town had the opportunity to join a golf outing at TPC Louisiana, generously co-sponsored by Mitsubishi International Corp., Tricon Energy, and IMPCA. In the evening, IMPCA hosted the official opening and networking reception at the IMTT River Shack, offering stunning views of the Mississippi River.

The main business session on 10 February included presentations on global methanol markets, regional distribution, and shipping, with contributions from Nexant and other invited experts. The conference concluded with closing remarks by IMPCA President René Butzelaar.
