29th IMPCA EUROPEAN MINI CONFERENCE

The 29th IMPCA European Mini Conference took place on 8–9 June 2017 in Hamburg, Germany, at the Empire Riverside Hotel. The conference once again brought together senior representatives from the methanol industry and related sectors for two days of dialogue, networking, and insightful presentations.

Delegates arrived on Thursday, 8 June, for individual registration and informal meetings during the afternoon. The conference programme officially commenced in the evening with a welcome reception and dinner, offering a relaxed environment for reconnecting with colleagues and business partners.

The business sessions took place on Friday, 9 June, and focused on key developments in the global methanol market, with special emphasis on methanol as a maritime fuel – a topic of increasing strategic importance. Leading experts presented on trends, policy shifts, and technical innovations impacting the industry.
