10th IMPCA MINI CONFERENCE AMERICA

Miami Beach, Florida – February 8–9, 2024

The 10th IMPCA Mini Conference America was once again held at the Marriott Stanton South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida. The event brought together methanol market participants from across the Americas and beyond for two days of expert insights and informal networking.

On 8 February, delegates could enjoy a golf outing at the Miami Beach Golf Club ahead of the official registration and a welcome reception at the hotel. The following day featured a full morning of focused business sessions covering global methanol and energy markets, green methanol, and key regulatory developments affecting methanol shipping.

Notable speakers included representatives from CMA, S&P Global, Poten & Partners, Nexant, Steem1960, Bunker Holding, and the Methanol Institute. The conference concluded with an IMPCA update by Dr. Ralph Grote and closing remarks from René Butzelaar, IMPCA President.
